IT Professional [Apprentice], Reference Number:  VAC000657640

Weekly wage / Annual Salary = £187.50/ £9750 – Working week: 37.5 hrs p/w Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00 – Apprenticeship duration = 24 Months – Apprenticeship level = Intermediate Level Apprenticeship (Level 2).  Applications for level 3 would also be considered.

We’re recruiting a Bright and Talented individual to help is provide our leading IT support services. We’re looking for candidates that are highly capable, conscientious, mentally agile and goal orientated.  You’ll have a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills as you’ll need to be able to produce clear documentation and communicate with end users of all levels.  A good completer-finisher and not shy of responsibility.  You’ll be learning on the job and therefore a logical, planned and calculated approach to problem solving is required.

As a company we supply IT solutions to small businesses, which includes VoIP Telephony and IP CCTV systems. The duties that you will have responsibility for will be (but not limited to):

Receipt and recording of client support requests via our ticket system
Assisting our other IT Professionals and Administrators in the maintenance and repair of Servers, Desktops, Laptops and Network Hardware
Configure Routers for Internet Access and General Firewall rules
Work with our Web Hosting and DNS system
Commission PC’s and other associated hardware

Business Administration [Apprentice], Cambridge, Reference Number:  VAC000657622

Bright and Talented Individual required for Business Administration Role.

We’re looking for a Bright and Talented individual to join us as our business administrator.  There will be significant opportunities to work on a day to day basis with our accounting functions as well as other general day to day business administration. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate and will likely suit someone looking to work towards AAT training.  We’ll also consider applicants looking to complete either a level 3, 4 of 5 business administration / accounts related qualification.

Systems Analyst, Cambridge, Reference Number:  DCN0001/CAM/006

Annual Salary = £22000 to £27000 with Flexible hours Working week: 37.5 hrs p/w, bonus scheme

We’re looking a conscientious individual capable of taking responsibility for projects and problem solving. The successful applicant will be working in a small team and helping to fulfill our high level of service to our IT Support clients.

Essential Skills and Experience

– Experience in working in an IT Support role or related area
– “Can-do” attitude essential – keen to provide excellent IT support to a growing customer base
– Excellent written communications, capable of producing clear documentation
– A good completer-finisher
– Proven ability to develop new skills and learn on the job
– Strong “hands-on” skills for setup and commission of PCs, network infrastructure and associated hardware
– Windows Server administration experience, including Hyper-V and / or Xen Citrix
– Experience configuring cloud-based backups, for example using Synology or Veeam

Desirable Skills and Experience

– Analysis of complex problems and working to resolve issues, referring to suppliers and software vendors as needed
– VoIP Telephony Experience
– Broadband Internet setup and Firewall Administration

Our Ideal Candidate

– Approximately 3+ years working in similar roles or looking for promotion, responsibility and independence
– Superb client facing skills and willingness to visit customer sites as needed

Remuneration

Salary in region of £22,000 to £27,000 + Bonus + Pension Contribution. Target Bonus in excess of £30,000 per annum. Please note that this is not a sales role and bonuses are paid based on contribution to the company.
