How to get your Device collected and repaired…

If your computer or other device has gone wrong, and your company doesn’t have a Total Solutions Contract with Dataconnectivity Ltd, this is what to do:

  1. Call us on 01223 750000 between 09:30-17:00 Monday to Friday.
  2. We will ask you for the model number, serial number and confirm the details of your fault and what seems to be the problem.
  3. We will then organise for your Device to be collected the next day using a specialist courier service operated by DPD.  Your device will be sent to either our Cambridge office or Manchester technology repair centre.  Please note that even if your device is delivered to our Cambridge office, it may still be repaired at the Manchester technology repair centre and DPD may be used to transport it between the two sites.
  4. Your item will be collected by DPD who will provide a box to put the item into.  Please make sure you have your product ready for the time set by DPD for collection.  Failed collections may still be charged.
  5. Once your item has arrived at either Manchester or Cambridge, we will contact you confirming its arrival.
  6. We will test your product for functionality and see if any faults can be found. Please note a charge of £41.95 + VAT is payable for inspection however this fee is waived should you opt to have any chargeable repairs carried out whilst the unit is in our possession.
  7. Repairs are normally assessed and turned around within 4 days of receipt at our workshop and your authorisation is required before work proceeds.
  8. Dataconnectivity Ltd. will inform you of any delays due to parts availability, etc.
  9. Dataconnectivity Ltd. will inform you when your device is ready and confirm dispatch to you by next business day carrier.  Please note that we can only dispatch items back to the original collection address.
