Broadband – December 29th 2011 14:48 – Ongoing – Mildenhall, Great Oakley, Ely, Hemel Hempstead based Customers.
Our service partner in these areas are migrating their core network to new equipment over the first few months of 2012. Customers with fixed IP addresses will need to be allocated a new IP address range and your relevant DNS entries will need to be updated. In order to run both IP addresses over an interim changeover period your modem requires a firmware update. Total Solutions Customers and customers who have the fully managed broadband service from us will be contacted in due course to arrange a free of charge engineer visit to facilitate this. Customers who are not on a total solutions contract or a fully managed broadband service will be notified in due course and will be required to carry out the firmware upgrade themselves or pay for one of our engineers to visit (£125 + VAT).
